The Bieszczady Mountains are crisscrossed with a variety of trails catering to different skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or a casual walker, there's a path waiting for you.

Mała Rawka to Wielka Rawka

This trail is a must-visit for anyone exploring Bieszczady. Starting from Wyżniańska Pass, the 9.2 km path takes approximately 3 hours and 10 minutes to complete. The elevation gain is moderate, making it accessible to most hikers. Along the way, you'll witness stunning views of the Caryńska and Wetlińska meadows, two of the most picturesque spots in the region. The panoramic vistas from the Rawka peaks provide a breathtaking view of the Tarnica and Halicz groups.

Przelecz Orłowicza to Smerek

For a more challenging hike, the trail from Wodospad Ostrowskich to Przelecz Orłowicza and onwards to Smerek peak is ideal. This 10 km route starts near a small waterfall along road 897. The initial climb is through a pleasant forest path, leading to the windy Przelecz Orłowicza pass. From here, hikers can choose to continue towards Smerek peak at 1222 meters. The entire hike takes about 5 hours and offers both forested sections and exposed, windy areas that can be quite cold, especially in winter.

Wolosate Loop

For those seeking a more extensive journey, the Wolosate loop offers a complete 18 km trail passing through the highest peak, Tarnica. Starting and ending in Wolosate, this trail takes you through the peaks of Rozsypaniec and Halicz. The trail is marked and provides a comprehensive Bieszczady experience, showcasing both the lush lowlands and the rugged highlands.
